When strolling through the Castle World a visit to the Castle Museum ‘On the Knight's Trail‘ is a must. This is very much a ‘hands on’ museum. Whether the Crusades, alchemy, jousting tournaments or the Black Death – in each of the 14 display rooms the visitor experiences the world of the Middle Ages up close. Alchemy experiments with exploding effects and rattling skeletons in the Black Death chamber are as much part of the whole experience as are special film, tonal and sound effects which provide for the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. You can also take part in a Museum Rally or join in a guided tour and listen to the most exciting and extraordinary legends and stories to do with the Ehrenberg Castle Ensemble. Your child will not want to take off his armour and you too will be spellbound!
